Our first ever event! This is where we all came together for the first time and started our efforts to raise awareness for Infantile Spasms
While it all started here, there many nerve-wracking moments leading up to this night. We wanted this night to be a success. It wasn't about the food or the silent auction items, or even the venue. It was about bring Infantile Spasms to the fore front.
So many of you were overly supportive in making this evening a success. Some of you tested your skills and knowledge as you roamed the exhibits, while others wanted to learn more about IS.
Dr. Go gave a powerful presentation explaining not only Emma's journey, but the journey of so many children that obtain a diagnosis of Infantile Spasms. She continued to provide an update on her study - funded by all of you.
It was an amazing culmination of our first year, and it would set the tone for many more.
